| Welcome to katearecchi.com! As a director, much of my recent work has been in directing and choreographing musical theatre. In addition to my work in musical theatre, I direct non-musical productions ranging from Shakespeare to more contemporary works. I am interested in looking at the classics of the theatre repertory through a modern lens. Always respecting the original intent of the work, yet striving to illuminate the stories and make them relevant to modern audiences. I am also actively looking to collaborate with musicians, artists, writers, and choreographers to create new work, both traditional and more experimental in nature.
